The Outcomes And Effects Of Child Labour

What is the best thing people can do for their children? Have fun, go school, and be active. Unsuspecting children cannot succeed in school, play with their friends and have fun. Child labour is that factor. Child labour is when children are employed in businesses against their will. Child labor is not acceptable and must be stopped. Child labour is dangerous for children and causes many mental health problems.

According to a University of Qassim recent study, child labor is a major problem in any nation. Around 89 percent of child-workers in Saudi Arabia are Saudis. Child labour can not only be exhausting, but it can also have a major impact on children’s mental health. Child labour can also lead to depression, early ageing and malnutrition. Children’s communication skills are also affected by child labour. Because they have to work so many hours, it is difficult for them to make time for their families, friends, or communities. Teenagers who work more than 20 hours a week are at greater risk of developing aggressive and drug-abusing behaviors. Working children will suffer from depression and isolation, which will make it difficult for them to have healthy emotions throughout their lives. The future of their children as adults is what most kids are looking forward to. Will they become entrepreneurs, lawyers or doctors? Thegaurdian.com held an interview with Tiyamike (14 years old). She said that school is important and that she wouldn’t mind working if she was not forced to. The school is an important part of a child’s development. It helps them learn, grow, improve, master their skills, and prepare for the future. They will not learn these valuable life lessons if they are working in factories and farms all day. Recent research in Saudi Arabia has shown that 1.54% of children prefer to work than attend school.

Child labor not only has long-term consequences but it also impacts the children directly. Some tasks that children are forced to do are dangerous and hazardous. Children are often required to work long hours and take frequent breaks. Children often work in unsafe and hazardous environments like factories or construction sites. They may also be required to work with dangerous materials that are too heavy or risky. Poor safety and working conditions can lead to children being injured or killed by the demands of dangerous work. It can lead to permanent disability, mental damage, and ill-health.

As society evolves, so should we. We must end child labour and give our children the childhoods they desire. Child labour should never be tolerated. They are our only true victims. Our society’s future is determined by our children. Is it really possible to allow these evil people to take our society’s future? I don’t think so. This is why it is up you, citizens of society, that we end child labor.
